From Tina (June 2010) : I am running the Great North Run again this year to raise money for the Stroke Society.  Back in 2003 my father suffered a stroke but I am pleased to say that due to his determination he has made a full recovery, not everyone is so lucky so I would like to have the opportunity to raise money so more investigation work can be done to find out why and how a stroke occurs, hopefully saving more lives along the way. I would be very grateful for any donation you can give. Thank you.
